Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 30 December 2024 and 2 January 2025, as well as the updates on material litigations provided through the Company’s quarterly announcements on 8 May 2025 and 6 August 2025. The Board of Directors of PCB wishes to provide a further update based on information received from the Company’s lawyer on 30 September 2025.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court had on 30 September 2025, held that the conflicting affidavits filed by the parties necessitate a full trial. At this preliminary stage, the Court is unable to determine such conflicts of evidence summarily through an interlocutory striking-out application.

The matter will therefore proceed to full trial during which the Court will deliver its decision after hearing and perusing all relevant evidence and submissions in relation to the alleged infringement, including whether the Company is in fact the party to the claims.

In relation to this matter, the Group wishes to reiterate that the Company and its subsidiary companies (“Pentamaster Group”):

1. have never infringed the purported patents as alleged by Ocado;
2. have never commercialised the alleged products in this matter; and
3. do not carry out any sale of any products or services in connection with the alleged claim by Ocado.

The Board remains confident that, through the upcoming matter, it will be established that Pentamaster Group is not the appropriate party to these proceedings and will defend against Ocado’s claims.
