Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 30 December 2024, 2 January 2025 and 30 September 2025, as well as the updates on material litigations provided through the Company’s quarterly announcements on 8 May 2025 and 6 August 2025.

The Board of Directors of PCB wishes to inform that Ocado's legal filing has included Pentamaster Equipment Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (“PEM”) and Pentamaster Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (“PSS”) as part of the procedural ongoing legal proceedings pursuant to the amended Writ dated 7 October 2025 and the amended Statement of Claim dated 8 October 2025 received by the Company today.

This inclusion is based on the allegation that PEM’s principal activities involve equipment design, manufacturing services and manufacturing of high precision machine parts while PSS’s principal activities involve the provision of smart home or building automation systems solutions. However, PEM and PSS are neither involved in nor associated with the matters alleged. These two subsidiaries are the operating entities within the Pentamaster Group. PCB remains an investment holding company and does not directly conduct any operational activities.

In relation to this matter, Pentamaster Group wishes to reiterate that the Group:

1. has never infringed the purported patents as alleged by Ocado;
2. has never commercialised the alleged products in this matter; and
3. does not carry out any sale of any products or services in connection with the alleged claim by Ocado.

The Board remains confident that it will be established in due course that Pentamaster Group is not the appropriate party to these proceedings and the Group will continue to vigorously defend its position against Ocado’s claims through the appropriate legal channels.
