The Board of Directors of Pentamaster Corporation Berhad ("PMCB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary company Pentamaster Automation Engineering (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. (“PMAE”) has commenced members’ voluntary closure  proceedings in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”).

PMAE is an enterprise with foreign investment registered in the PRC with a registered capital of USD150,000. Its principal activities was design, manufacture and sale of Pentamaster Group’s range of standard products and equipment, automated conveyor lines and systems, jigs, fixture, structure and parts for the automotive industry. PMAE has ceased its operations since year 2010 and is currently dormant.

The voluntary closure of PMAE will not have any significant financial and operational impact on PMCB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2015.

The completion of the voluntary closure proceedings of PMAE is subject to clearance of the relevant authorities in the PRC. 

None of the Directors or major shareholders of PMCB and/or persons connected with them have any interests, direct or indirect, in the voluntary closure of PMAE.
