Further to the announcements made by PMCB on 27 January 2016, 2 February 2016, 4 February 2016 and 28 March 2016, the Company wishes to provide the following update based on information provided by the Company’s lawyer on 3 August 2016.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court had, on 22 July 2016, made the following decisions:-

a)      That the Anton Piller order previously obtained by Pentamaster Instrumentation Sdn Bhd ex-parte on 21 January 2016 is set aside pursuant to the applications made by the Defendants;

b)      That, pursuant to the setting aside of the Anton Piller order, damages incurred by the Defendants, if any, arising from the execution of the Anton Piller order are to be assessed by the Court Registrar;

c)      That Pentamaster Instrumentation Sdn Bhd's application for interim injunction against all Defendants is disallowed;

d)      That, for both the allowance of the applications of the Defendants as mentioned in (a) above and dismissal of Pentamaster Instrumentation Sdn Bhd's application in (b) above, the cost awarded in favour of the Defendants is to be in the amount of RM25,000.00 each, to be paid to QAV Technologies Sdn Bhd, Elsoft Research Berhad and AGS Automation (M) Sdn Bhd (jointly) and Lumileds Malaysia Sdn Bhd respectively.

The Company has instructed its lawyers to appeal the above decisions. The next Case Management date has been fixed for 26 August 2016 and the trial dates previously set down for 13 to 16 February 2017 and 20 to 23 February 2017 have been maintained.
