Notice of Bonus Entitlement
BONUS ISSUE OF UP TO 158,292,712 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN PENTAMASTER CORPORATION BERHAD ("PCB SHARES") ("BONUS SHARES") ON THE BASIS OF ONE (1) BONUS SHARE FOR EVERY TWO (2) EXISTING PCB SHARES HELD BY SHAREHOLDERS OF PCB WHOSE NAMES APPEAR ON THE RECORD OF DEPOSITORS AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON 27 JUNE 2019
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[EX-BONUS ISSUE]” as from: 26 June 2019
2) The last date of lodgment : 27 June 2019
3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
a) Selling Broker to deduct <1/3>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
b) Buying Broker to deduct <33.33%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/3>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.
Remarks 1: "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 27 June 2019 with bonus issue of PENTA shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive PENTA bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his PENTA shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (26 June 2019)
For example, if Mr X purchases 200 PENTA shares on cum basis on 25 June 2019, Mr X should receive 200 shares on 27 June 2019. As a result of the bonus issue, a total of 300 PENTA shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 27 June 2019 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the bonus issue shares of 300 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 26 June2019 onwards.
Remarks 2: The date of the listing and quotation for the Bonus Shares shall be on 28 June 2019, being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date. The notices of allotment for the Bonus Shares will be issued and despatched to the entitled shareholders at the address as per the Record of Depositors within 4 market days after the date of the listing and quotation of the Bonus Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
